Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Reefer Tech Pro website and web application (the "Service"), operated by Reefer Tech Pro ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Reefer Tech Pro is a diagnostic reference tool for Carrier and Thermo King transport-refrigeration units. It provides alarm-code lookups, wiring diagrams and an AI assistant that answers questions using service-manual content. It runs in a web browser.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. Accounts and logins are for your team's use and must not be shared publicly or resold.
3. Trials, plans and billing
We offer a free tier, time-limited trials (such as a 7-day trial), and paid plans. Access is activated manually by us. We do not automatically charge your card or auto-renew a subscription; any paid plan is arranged and confirmed with you directly. Trial access reverts to the free tier when the trial period ends unless a plan is arranged.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service unlawfully or to infringe others' rights.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape or copy the Service or its underlying data.
- Do not resell or redistribute access or content without our written permission.
5. Diagnostic disclaimer — important
The Service is a reference aid only. Its content and AI-generated answers are provided to assist qualified technicians and are not a substitute for manufacturer service manuals, proper training, or established safety procedures. Always follow the equipment manufacturer's official procedures and all applicable safety, lock-out/tag-out and electrical-isolation practices. Verify any reading, specification, wiring detail or procedure against the official documentation before acting on it. You are solely responsible for any diagnosis, repair or work carried out. We do not warrant that the content is accurate, complete or current.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, its design and its software are owned by Reefer Tech Pro. Service-manual excerpts, diagrams and product names remain the property of their respective owners; "Carrier" and "Thermo King" are trademarks of their respective owners and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by them. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own diagnostic work.
7. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, cost or injury arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service — including any repair outcome, equipment damage, downtime or lost revenue. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the courts of New Zealand have non-exclusive jurisdiction. The Service is offered to users in New Zealand, Australia and the United States.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
